Corporate Box @ AAMI Stadium ... What the?

There I was, minding my own business, when I received a call from my cousin who invited me (a representative of Baboosi) to partake in some afternoon football action in the Austral Bricks corporate box at AAMI Stadium, watching Port Adelaide take on Melbourne. It was 10 years since I had been to the football so I seized the opportunity. Overall it was a complete annihilation of Melbourne, pastries, seafood and Becks. Felt like a real big wig!

I haven't been around for very long, but within a week I was ranking in at number 17 in a Google search for my name (without surname). A couple of days later (today) I rank in at number 13. That's an international search by the way.

Amazing. Dad and Uncle Matt are most impressed. Mum / everyone else couldn't care less.

She's here!

Annamie Isabel Tonkin arrived this morning at 6:50. After a very long night for Joanne (and another long night of sleeping for Bruce), Annamie made her first public appearance. She brought little with her (other than the usual, now useless, baby making equipment). Everyone was expecting a boy, and whilst there may be a slight chance that the necessary component for that might have gone missing in transit, we'll work with what we've got. She's off to a good start weighing in at 4.37 kgs (9.63 pounds) - exactly one kilo more than Jett.

We'll be at the hospital for the remainder of the day, with plans to return home this evening. If you're keen to visit, today is out of the question. Arrange it with Bruce for another day. This week, next week, whenever.

Note: If there are any multi-millionaire brewery owners out there thinking of making baby boys - now is your time.

Adelaide to Melbourne: Video

There's no doubt about it. Cancer is a horrible thing and, unless you're a doctor or a scientist, there's not much you can do except raise money to help continue the research. You could knock on doors collecting money or you could ride your bike from Adelaide to Melbourne. We all know what most people would choose. Graeme chose the other one. He's not alone in being crazy. Fourteen other people joined him.

Here's some footage from their departure.
